Various literary arts organisations run international exchange programmes for writers. We coordinate and facilitate these initiatives, providing access to knowledge databases and putting writers in touch with local artists, local heritage and local people.
We also organise new initiatives and work in partnership with the residency programmes of the Dutch Foundation for Literature (Letterenfonds) and other Cities of Literature. These exchange programmes are also interesting for translators: they get to work closely with foreign writers in residence in Fryslân and can also travel abroad.
