Leeuwarden UNESCO City of Literature is looking for 100 paradise gardens in Friesland for the Happiness delayed project. In the gardens, we want to tell our 100 new short stories to the public, every day during the 100 days of the Arcadia cultural program, from May 7 to August 14, 2022.
100 stories in 100 days, in 100 special locations
The gardens can be flower gardens, woodland gardens, vegetable gardens, courtyard gardens, sculpture gardens or tea gardens in people’s homes, but also allotments (join with your entire complex!) or gardens or parks of companies or institutions. The story can also be part of the programming of an event or festival. Think of the atmosphere of a living room concert, but with a narrator, in your garden.
We’ve had lot of wonderful applications, it is not possible to register your garden anymore.
