The winners of the 2025 Tony Feitsma Prize, a new literary award for young people and young adults up to 29 years old, are Hielke van Duuren, Eelke Veltman, and Pieter Zijlstra. In addition, three debutant prizes were awarded to participants who have never published anything before: Renske de Boer, Marije van der Eems, and Tiemen de Boer.

The Tony Feitsma Prize is a joint initiative of the Feitsma Fund, the Federation of Frisian Student Associations, and the literary magazine Ensafh. There were 37 entries. The debutant prizes were established because the goal of the prize is to promote creative writing in Frisian. The Federation and its members have strongly supported this goal with a workshop and other activities.

The awards will be presented on Monday, December 29, at 10:00 a.m. in the wedding hall of Franeker Town Hall, Riedhûsplein 1. The winners will also have the opportunity to publish their contributions in Ensafh, under the supervision of the editors.
