On September 23, six poetry and prose writers will start a series of workshops Foardrachtskeunst (recitation art) at Tryater. This series of four workshops is organized by Leeuwarden City of Literature, Explore the North and Tryater. There were fifteen registrations, a good number for this first edition.
In four meetings, the writers work with attitude, voice, interpretation and theater technique: the tools of a good recitation artist. Actor and theater teacher Karel Hermans gives the workshops. On Thursday 14 October the writers will give a performance for the public. More information about this will follow.
