‘Maia en har freonen’ proceeds for UNICEF Ukraine
Under the leadership of Hille Faber of Utjouwerij DeRyp, Frisian publishers join forces and publish the Ukrainian picture book ‘Maya and her moms’ in Frisian. The proceeds of the sale will benefit UNICEF Ukraine to help children there during the war.
Writer Tialda Hoogeveen made the Frisian translation of the book. She drew Hille Faber’s attention to the initiative, which has already been taken up by more countries.
The book ‘Maia en har freonen’ can be bought in the shop and webshop of Afûk.
