The Celebrate Your Own Language project, with its theme of Language was a great success, see: FERSLACH EN PRAATSTIK Feest fan Fier dyn eigen taal 29-11-2025. The number of submissions was plentiful: approximately 250, spread across more than 70 languages, 222 of which were included in the collection. There is a need for a stage for poetry in lesser-known languages, so this project will be continued- with the theme: Freedom.
This new venture is worldwide in nature, meaning that poems from all ‘small languages’ are eligible – we do not use the often disparaging term ‘dialect’. Of course, ‘Small’ is relative – a language can have many speakers but little power.
Criteria
New work, previously unpublished, translations by others are not permitted, with the exception of rephrase of the original poem.

Each poet can submit verses in multiple languages to the poetry platform on this website; send to:
