Poetry in the Gallery

Visual art and literary art come together during Poetry in the Gallery in the exhibition space of the De Lawei Theatre. All this takes place during the solo exhibition Salon Barricade by Erik de Boer.

Ten poets will take you on a journey through the playfulness of language, word, and sound this afternoon.

Program:
14:00 – Doors open
15:00 – Start of poetry afternoon
16:30 – End of program
17:00 – Doors close

Poets: Bart Adjudant, Fred Hoekstra, Reinier van Delden, Jankobus Seunnenga, Kesanova, Gabrielle Terpstra, Lubbert Jan de Vries, Martsje de Jong, Tomas Dalgaard, and more.

On Sunday, May 31, the expo will end with a festive poetry marathon. At quick speed, many diverse poets will take turns reciting briefly (one poem at a time, max. 2 minutes). Depending on the time and the number of poets, participants may recite more often. You can register via the attached link, but it is also possible to decide to participate on the spot.
