Celebrate linguistic diversity with the North Frisian film ‘Amrum’ (directed by Fatih Akin) and the launch of three Liwwadder craft beers! This poignant coming-of-age film is set on the Wadden Island of Amrum in 1945 and will be introduced by Frisian artist Henk Wolf.
After the film (5:00 PM), three new craft beers from Brouwerij Grutte Pier will be presented in the foyer, inspired by the proverbial dictionary ‘Ik rúk al aardech naar de skep’ by Ezra Efdé. This marks the start of a language and arts project promoting Liwwadder, with murals throughout the city. Live music by Trio Ossekop featuring Liwwadder classics!
