During the first edition of Arcadia, in 2022, we brought Happiness Delayed. Every hundred days of the cultural program, visitors could come and listen to a story read out loud for free at 100 different, heavenly locations in Friesland. The recurring theme: the search for beauty during and after the pandemic.

During Small Delights we would like to bring a reprise of Happiness Delayed, as 1 of the 100 forms in which we let literary texts appear during the second edition of Arcadia. In Wijckel, in It Boukeboskje (address: Sânmar 3), Frank Belt will read the story (in Dutch) that Jeroen Olyslaegers wrote for Small Delights.

Happiness Delayed is free and spontaneously accessible. The program lasts about an hour. You do not have to register. Bring your own garden chair. Walk-in at 7:15 PM. Preferably come on foot or by bike.
