Golden Lida

Tresoar celebrates Lida Dijkstra on Friday 23 October! An interesting programme, with gold as the theme, pays tribute to the versatile writer who has already written some 100 books, mostly for children.

As the first Frisian writer, she won a Golden Griffin for her children’s book The Wonder Teller. Many aspects of her rich career are covered: Jaap Friso, known from The Great Friendly Podcast about children’s literature, will have a conversation with Lida Dijkstra and two other award winners, Natascha Stenvert (illustrator) and Skelte Braaksma (comic artist). There is music by Janneke Brakels and three illustrators create live artwork on this festive afternoon, like a kind of ‘Stars on Canvas’.
