It’s Frisian Bookweek! If you buy a Frisian book (online) between 6 and 14 March, you will receive the Frisian Gift Book, written by Hilda Talsma, for free. The Frisian Bookweek will be festively kicked off with the Frisian Bookparty on 6 March in the Westerkerk, broadcasted by Omrop Fryslân.
Due to corona, the National Book Week, which would also take place between 6 and 14 March, has been moved to summer. This means that the National Book Week Gift, written by Hanna Bervoets, the Book Week essay by Roxane van Iperen, and the Frisian edition of the Book Week Gift, translated by Baukje Zijlstra, will then be available. Between 6 and 14 March, the CPNB is organizing The Preface to the Boekenweek as a prelude to the Boekenweek in the summer.
