On the eve of the Tall Ships Races Harlingen, Ferhalefjoer spins the theme ‘On Water!’ At this storytelling evening, storytellers Frank Belt, Baukje Koolhaas and Ingrid Halfhide share thrilling stories about sea dogs and landlubbers, cool waters and storms at sea, from the pond in the garden to distant oceans.

Ferhalefjoer is the place for stories. To listen to or tell yourself. Frank, Baukje and Ingrid open and close the evening with a story. In between, anyone who wants can share a story. Every time there’s someone who never thought they would tell a story beforehand. Just listening is also fine.

This is the last time Ferhalefjoer takes place in the garden of Hannemahuis. In August and September, the storytelling fire moves to another beautiful garden in the city centre of Harlingen, the garden of Sint Hubertus at the Zuiderhaven. As usual on the first Thursday of the month.

Admission is free. Coffee and tea are available. A voluntary contribution is welcome.
