Tryater is celebrating its sixtieth anniversary in the 2025-2026 theater season. Born in 1965 from the rich amateur scene, Tryater is now honoring its roots with the Eenakterfestival on March 21 and 22, 2026. Six amateur associations and two combined groups will bring specially written one-act (eenakter) plays to life. The plays are by Doutsen van Gosliga, Raymond Muller, Maaike Bergstra, Sanne Schuhmacher, and Wessel de Vries.
Each play will be performed at a suitable location within the Tryater building – the casts will receive technical support and use the professional spaces. A unique opportunity to experience eight different performances in one evening!
