As a writer, you sometimes have specific questions that you can’t find answers to anywhere. ‘Can I get help with writing?’ ‘How do I find a publisher?’ ‘Can I self-publish?’ ‘What fee can I ask when doing a reading?’ ‘How can I apply for a grant for a project?’
Because of all these possible questions and many more, Leeuwarden UNESCO City of Literature is organizing open consultation hours twice this year at different locations in the province. The consultation hours are for authors (of fiction, non-fiction and poetry for all ages) who write in Frisian, Dutch and perhaps other languages too.
The first edition is 26 May at the library of Sneek, the second on 27 October at the librabry of Drachten, both between 2:00-4:00 PM.
Register?
You don’t necessarily need to register, feel free to just drop in, but we may be able to help you better if you send us an email beforehand and briefly (maximum 150 words) indicate what you would like to discuss. This ensures that we are extra well prepared during the consultations.
We look forward to seeing you there!
