Poets collective RIXT, the bilingual cultural magazine De Moanne and Leeuwarden City of Literature spoke with the well-known writer, lawyer, human rights activist and journalist Liliia Denyensko in Ukraine.
Liliia is also a member of Ukrainian PEN and is a UN Goodwill Ambassador to increase tolerance in her country. Together with Eliash Strongowski, she is a publisher and founder of the publishing house Vydavnytstvo.
Among other things, we asked her how writers around the world can help her and her writers, which Ukrainian writers we should read and which poems we should translate.
