Leeuwarden is taking part in the Talking Cities Project, an international pen pal project for young writers. Young writers from 15 cities of literature will be paired up as pen pals. Write, learn, grow, share; this is your opportunity to speak to another young creative, whether you want to learn about life in another city or get feedback on your writing.
The project brings back the written word through real letters. Young writers can correspond with peers from cities such as Iowa City, Melbourne, Jakarta, Bremen, Quebec City and Exeter.
Fill out the application form through this link by the 29th April for a chance to take part.
More information about participating cities and how to apply can be found on the Nottingham City of Literature website.
