It Skriuwersbûn and Tresoar are organizing an essay competition. The essay must be about storytelling and has to be written in Frisian, with a maximum of 1500 words. Tresoar has attractive cash prizes for the winners, and the best essays will be published.
On Friday evening, January 9th, at 7:30 PM, there will be an information evening at Proeflokaal Wouters in Leeuwarden. Doeke Sijens will talk more about essay writing and share tips.
You can submit your essay to ynfo@skriuwersboun.frl until April 2nd, 2026. The results will be announced at a special evening in June.
