The international poetry festival Transpoesie will take place in Antwerp and Brussels on Thursday, September 18th and Friday, September 19th. This year’s theme is “Turbulent Times.” Poet Jan Kooistra, representing the Skriuwersbûn and the RIXT poetry collective, will read several poems, including “Jûnskuier yn febrewaris.” This year, poets from 16 countries will participate, performing in their own languages—both minor and major. All poems have also been translated and will be available on the Transpoesie website.
