On Saturday the 31st dBieb in Leeuwarden is organizing a ‘Human Library’: not ordinary books, but living books that you can borrow for a personal twenty-minute conversation. You’ll talk to someone with a unique story, someone you might not normally speak to very often. Think of a climate activist, a woman with a trans background, a refugee, a lesbian mother, a Muslim, a blind person or a person of color. These encounters broaden your perspective and contribute to greater mutual understanding.
Spontaneous visits are also welcome; they’ll check on the spot if there’s space to ‘borrow’ a person.
