Writer Gabriëlle Terpstra and poet Remco Kuiper are on a book tour with their debuts Geller and Grûnwetter. They first presented these at the end of 2025 in artist village Asgaard and theater De Bres in Leeuwarden. Now they bring their work throughout Friesland.

Terpstra and Kuiper perform together with singer-songwriter ZEA and poetry performers Martsje de Jong and Lubbert Jan de Vries, presenting a set of approximately 1.5 hours. Poetry, prose and music come together during the tour in a free, dynamic form. There is not much to say about the form of what happens – actually nothing: there is a beginning and there is an end. In between, much is allowed, if not everything possible, for both the audience and the artists. In short: an event for curious and free-minded people.

About the books

Grûnwetter was called a ‘stunningly rich collection’ in the Friesch Dagblad. The Leeuwarder Courant praised the tone as intimate, personal and almost transparent.

Geller received praise because the writer manages to keep her distance throughout, describing the experiences of the main character in an almost cool way. The Friesch Dagblad called it ‘a debut worth framing!’
