Every summer, the Frysk Letterkundich Museum and Dokumentaasjesintrum, It Fryske Gea and Tresoar make the ark that previously belonged to writer Rink van der Velde (1932-2001) available to writers and poets who want to work in peace on literary work in Frisian or in another regional language of Fryslân.
In the summer of 2021, Jan Minno Rozendal, Wilma Miedema, Warner B. Banga, Aukje Wijma, Harmen Bloemhof and Youvan Bergsma and the poet collective RIXT will stay in the Skriuwersarke on the Veenhoop.
Because of corona this year (just like in 2020), the Skriuwerarke cannot be opened with a small ceremony as usual. In its place, the writers and poets present themselves on the FLMD website.
