The most beautiful Frisian stories in the darkest days of the year, the podcast series Boekekast will be continued. Frisian writers wrote a story especially for this second season. So this time they are not excerpts from existing books, but specially written stories. The first podcast with a story by Hilda Talsma will be online on Saturday 7 November.
A new literary story comes online every week on Saturday. These are stories by Frisian writers Hilda Talsma, Ferdinand de Jong, Piter Boersma, Geart Tigchelaar, Jetske Bilker, Jaap Krol, Lida Dijkstra and Thys Wadman. Saturday, November 7, the story Old School fan Hilda Talsma will start.
In addition to the story, the podcast also features an interview with the writer. Presenter Karen Bies talks to the writer about the story, the background and the literature. Omrop Fryslân and Boeken fan Fryslân, in collaboration with Leeuwarden City of Literature, also want to draw attention to Frisian literature in a different way with this second season.
The first Bookcase of the new series will be online on Omropfryslan.nl/boekekast, the Omrop app and the well-known podcast channels on Saturday 7 November.
