Boaz Blume is a poet, performer and teacher of Dutch Sign Language. He performs visual poetry on stages such as Poetry International, Oerol and the Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam (Boekenbal 2025). He collaborated with spoken word artist Elten Kiene and enriched songs by singer Elmer, who won the Edison Pop Prize in the category ‘Newcomer’ this year. Boaz performed at international festivals, for example in Finland, Belgium and France and collaborated with various foreign artists. In his performances and workshops, Boaz tries to bring people together through language art and expression. He can be seen in the short film Imaginings and the poetry clip Heartbeat. As a dancer at 20Hertz he performed in the show Grondslag. He also played a role in the TV youth program Hands Up by KRO-NCRV.
