A summer festival full of new encounters, renewed acquaintances, and exciting discoveries
After a culture-poor corona year, Explore the North is organizing Explore the North – The Summer Sessions: A live summertime festival full of showcases, Explore the North’s own (co-) productions and premieres in music, theater, literature and more – running from June to Oktober, on various locations in Leeuwarden.
The program offers a wide variety of new productions developed over the past year, including young talent from Gemale, Chagall and S10, as well as established names like Nynke Laverman and Frank Westerman, and special collaborations such as Godwits.
