On Friday, November 6, at 7 p.m. in Friesland, many doors will open and stories will be told during the “Verhalenavond” (Story Night). At people’s homes, in cafes, at museums, in hospitals and… at your place? Everyone has a story so don’t hesitate to join in!

The theme this year is “The Virus”, but of course you decide what and where you tell your story. Your story lasts a maximum of 8 minutes so that several groups of people can listen to you in the evening. You can register as a narrator until October 23. There are various tips for both your story and making your contribution corona-proof.

The annual story night in November is a sequel to the successful “2018 stories” that kicked off the 2018 Capital of Culture Year. On “Verhalenavond”, all inhabitants of Fryslân meet to listen to each other’s stories.
