During the Dutch Poetry Week (28 January to Wednesday 3 February), Poetry International presents an outspoken poet from the Netherlands or abroad to your home every day. Live via zoom, they will read poems after the 8 o’clock news, followed by a Q&A. On Thursday, January 28 (national Poetry Day), Poet Laureate Tsead Bruinja will be a guest, on Tuesday, February 2, it will be the turn of Poet fan Fryslân Nyk de Vries.
Through Poetry on Impact you will become acquainted with poets who are often on top of current affairs as regional, city or national poet, and whose work can therefore be a clear answer to the question of what the role of poets and their poetry is.
