Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie (the Dutch fund for creative industries) and Nederlands Letterenfonds (the Dutch foundation for literature) call on writers, poets and designers to submit a project proposal for the program “Literatuur op het Scherm” (literature on screen) 2020. Submission is possible until Monday 25 May.

“Literatuur op het Scherm” is a program in which authors develop literary productions focused on the digital domain together with interaction designers, game makers or digital media makers. With the program, the initiators aim to strengthen talent development, collaboration and knowledge exchange between different disciplines.

The call is open to all forms of Dutch-language literature (poetry and prose, children’s and youth literature). The choice of platform, hardware and software is also free, as long as it is a digital platform. Think of web environments, mobile, game platforms, VR/AR or another new medium.

A working budget of up to € 12,500 (incl. VAT) is available per project for the development of a working prototype. In addition, there is an extra budget of € 3,000 (incl. VAT) per team for the final presentation. Four projects can be supported in this open call.
