Why can literature and poetry be so beautiful? Poet Laureate of Fryslân, Nyk de Vries, answers that question in a lesson program for (bovenbouw) Havo/VWO schools in Fryslân. The programs are suitable for small and large groups alike and consist of a combined performance and lesson.
Nyk’s stories (largely his own)— about his own fun and insecurity during his high school days, about expectations of falling in love, and how he was drawn to literature and writing in— are told in a humorous and accessible way.
