Frisian literary magazine Ensafh again organizes its annual “Grutte Gedichtejûn” (Great Poetry Night). This time it is not a poetry marathon in a cozy café; the event on Friday evening 5 February will take place entirely digitally, on Ensafh’s YouTube channel.
Poets and readers – ripe and green – have been called upon to record a poem before January 22. Together these submissions will be turned into the “Grutte Gedichtejûn”. As usual, the poems are interspersed with music, this time by singer-songwriter Youp Boelens.
