How is the Frisian cultural world doing after a year of corona? What has happened to theaters and culture-makers? And how do they see the future? On Friday May 21st, it will all be discussed in the Fryske Kultuer Talkshow: an online talkshow from Schouwburg de Lawei hosted by Roelof Lousma. Together with Commissioner Sietske Poepjes, he will talk to various guests from the cultural world.

Makers, musicians, theater directors and producers tell how they got through the corona crisis in the past year. They talk about the obstacles they encountered and where they found opportunities. They also share new plans that they have developed. Guests include Emiel Stoffers from De Hûnekop, Stef Avezaat from De Lawei, and Wybren Buma from Theater Sneek, dance company Ivgi & Greben, the Cloudsurfers, theater group Homsk, David Lelieveld from Pier21 production house, and composer Karmit Fadaël. Floris de Gelder from Arcadia will be there, as well as festival director Eva van Netten and retiring director Bert Looper from Tresoar.

You can follow the talk show in the evening on Friday May 21st at 19:00 via the De Lawei website.
