Children's book week

It’s (Frisian) Children’s Book Week again! The theme for this year is “And then?”. That means back in time! Back to the time when “pake” and “beppe” (Grandpa and Grandma) were still young. Or maybe back to the time of knights and ladies. Or how about the time when dinosaurs still walked around in Fryslân? Discover worlds from the past in books from now.

There are many beautiful Frisian children’s books to read (aloud) that match the theme. At school, children can work on a super fun project from the Frisian language method Spoar 8. And participate in a story writing competition, which gives them the chance to have their story published in a real magazine!
