Her books include &#8216;Grey China&#8217;, &#8216;Bowing Bamboo&#8217;, and &#8216;<em>Vrouwen in den vreemde<\/em>&#8216;. In 2013, she received the Bob den Uyl Prijs for Argentine Evenings and in 2017 the Libris geschiedenis Prijs for &#8216;Selma&#8217;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Her latest book, &#8216;Broers \u2013 in naoorlogs Nederland&#8217;, will be published on February 12th.
