“Woorden op Woensdag” (Words on Wednesday) is the open spoken word stage in Leeuwarden. Originally hosted by Dichter Bij Leeuwarden, the WoW sessions have now found their home at Podium Explore. Every first Wednesday of the month, from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM, the spoken word community of Leeuwarden is celebrated here. Everyone who calls themselves a poet, or wants to call themselves one (and all their friends) is welcome at the Podium Explore café. So come along, be surprised, or take the plunge and climb onto the stage yourself!
