The 11th edition of Explore the North Festival will take place on November 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. For three days, Leeuwarden will once again celebrate stories in all their forms. This year’s theme: “Hoop tussen de puinhopen” (hope in the ruins). Artists, along with visitors, will explore where beauty and love can be found in a growling world.
Like a firefly you’ll swarm past widely different places in the center of Leeuwarden, from churches to cellars and an old prison. Hope is everywhere, as long as you explore.
